Kate Lonsdale
Finance Director
Background
Kate is one of the founders of CTR and heads up the finance team. She brings 19 years commercial accountant knowledge to CTR; ten of which has been running her own accountancy practice in the North West.
Prior to accountancy, Kate finished a BA in Business Management at Wrexham Glyndwr University and went on to work for Trinity Mirror. It was from here she joined a city centre Accountant firm to start her accountancy & audit training.
Kate has gained vast business knowledge from previously working in practice and industry for both corporate and SME businesses. In particular in the legal, hospitality, property, financial services, claims management and insurance sectors.
Kate is business focused and wants to provide the best possible service for her clients. This has been proven by introducing many additional services via her accountancy practice. Examples of those being R&D & Enhanced Capital Allowances which many accountants don’t offer.

- Previous FD of finance team of a successful legal firm who grew from £1m – £7m turnover in less than four years
- Went on to work directly under the FD/OD/MD for one of the largest law firms in the UK

Ian Sinclair-Ford
Legal Director
Background
After qualifying as a Solicitor in 1988 and spending a short time in private practice Ian moved inhouse with the Commercial Legal Team of Capital Bank plc, the asset finance arm of Bank of Scotland delivering the commercial legal services required by a £5billion a year asset finance provider.
In 2007 he became the Company Solicitor, Group Secretary and Data Protection Officer for Alliance& Leicester Commercial Finance plc (ALCF), the asset finance arm of the bank. After 10 years there he went back to private practice with a large national firm for a year, then went consulting in data privacy through his own company, advising everyone from sole traders to global corporations on their UK, European and global data privacy strategies, audits, and defensive practices.

- Creating, implementing and managing a data privacy programme for ALCF
- Auditing and advising global corporations on their data privacy positions

When not working Ian supports Everton FC, enjoys a glass of red wine and spending time with his grown-up family, also walking in the lake District when he can get away.
Pam Moore
Operations Director
Background
As R&D Director at CTR, Pam brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and an in-depth professional understanding across broad range of commercial sectors at many levels, having dealt with local authorities and corporates to SME across a number of decades.
She sits on the Non-Executive Board of BITA (British & Irish Trade Alliance), a non-profit networking organisation supporting and encouraging businesses in the UK and Ireland to work collaboratively. The Non-Executive board works with, and is supported by, the Governments in England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales.
Her professional journey has given her experience beyond most. Previously, Pam worked within organisations supporting troubled young adults, helping to find their way back into the workforce and society. Seeing that she could make a difference, she created her own company specialising in the development of the often-forgotten men and women in our society.
More recently, Pam specialised in companies who were struggling by supporting their restructuring leading her to the world of R&D. This ignited her passion for helping the less supported smaller SME businesses through R&D Relief and she formed her own R&D company four years ago. Her talent, experience and expertise has allowed her to champion businesses within the SME sector.
